Talladega, Alabama is a city located in Talladega County with a population of around 15,000 people. As one of the smaller cities in the state, Talladega has an engaged community that takes part in local politics. The City Council consists of five members who are elected for four year terms. Additionally, Talladega is represented by two members of the Alabama State Senate and one member of the House of Representatives.
