Cudahy, California is a small city located in the south end of Los Angeles County. The city has a population of 23,805 according to the last census taken in 2020. While Cudahy has its own local government, it is largely overseen by Los Angeles County and its board of supervisors. In terms of politics, Cudahy is strongly Democratic with 64% of registered voters being Democrats and 31% being Republicans. There is also a growing Latino voting bloc in the city which has grown significantly over the last few elections. Currently there are no local political candidates representing Cudahy as all seats on both the City Council and Planning Commission are currently held by Democrats from Los Angeles County. R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won.
