Tualatin, Oregon is a small city located in Washington County, with a population of around 27,000 residents. It is located on the Tualatin River and borders the larger cities of Beaverton and Tigard. Despite its size, Tualatin is an active political area that is highly engaged in local, state and national politics. The city council consists of seven members who are elected by citizens every four years to represent their views and interests in local government.
