I am trying to find if there is a record of births & deaths in Shorterville, Alabama. My Grandfather was born there in 1875. His name was Elbert Herold Cooke, His father's name was James, mother's was Emily. They both were from North Carolina. And I suspect they are buried in Shorterville. Can anyone help me with this?
