Perfect summers, the worst winters - 7/21/2022
The summers in Spencer are magical. Fireflies, perfect weather, and beautiful lakes nearby. Everything here grows like a dream. Just plant it and it will grow without needing to be watered (including the weeds unfortunately). The winter lasts 8 months and feels like it will never end - ice stays on the roads for months. The snow doesn't melt. Even the windows in our house froze.
The people in Spencer are so kind. Some of the best you will ever meet. Shopping selection isn't great. There's a walmart and a couple of grocery stores, a Menards, and a few clothing stores at the mall and on main street. This city has a lot of potential.
