The Best Small Town in America for Young Families - 3/17/2019
My wife and I moved here with our 2 month old baby after living most of our lives in Colorado and we could not be happier with our decision. Stockbridge is the perfect small town. We are surrounded by beautiful nature and have all of the amenities we need. The are green mountains and perfect rivers and lakes everywhere here. From hiking, skiing, tennis, swimming, fishing, snowshoeing, disc golf, rock climbing, ice skating, soccer, bird watching, farmers markets, sledding, and leaf peeping we never run out of free things to do outside year round. We are also in the middle of an amazing arts and culture scene with Tanglewood musical concerts, Jacobs Pillow Dance, Shakespeare & Company, The Norman Rockwell Museum, Berkshire Theatre Group, Berksire Botanical Gardens, and more all nearby and all are either free for locals or have free local days.
