Pothole Flinch capitol of the world!!! - 5/21/2019
I grew up in this area. Harrison TWP witch is much better and with higher taxes than Macomb. Great hospitals, crappy roads, mosquitos, black flies, humid summers, POTHOLES, 696, I94, M59..... anywhere, traffic is very bad and so are the drivers. Highest insurance in the US! It sucks that's why I left long ago. Come back to vist, all the aforementioned is the same, only worse! It

I live in Macomb Township, Michigan - 8/21/2013
Macomb Township is a very nice place to raise your family. The area has just about everything to offer. Great restaurants, shopping, movies, boating, and parks. I work in downtown Detroit which on average takes about 45 minutes each morning. The weather is very mixed from season to season. Overall I like living here and would recommend it for a young family.

Culture in Macomb Township - 10/16/2010
I was disappointed to discover that there is little in the way of the arts here, beyond the great programs available at the Macomb Performing Arts Center. There are no art galleries and no community theater. Admittedly, it's not a day's trek to find several art galleries - in Rochester, only twenty minutes or so away. Great library services are available though at the 3 branches of the Clinton-Macomb Library
