Walker, MN is a small town in Minnesota that is known for its natural beauty and outdoor activities. Walker, a great place to live most of the year. - 6/23/2019
I've had a lake house nearby for nearly 20 years. It's a quiet, nice place to live for much of the year when full seasons are available. Lush greenery and moderate prices combine with plenty of outdoor activities: Golf, fishing, nationally acclaimed biking and snowmobile trails, hunting, boating, beautiful wildlife! The downfall includes typically longer and sometimes brutal winters and cooler temperatures. Very few upscale restaurants or shopping. Small tourist town on beautiful Leech Lake. Town has numerous small gift shops of many varieties. World class bike trails. Come to fish, bike or shop. Great place to live. Very reasonable prices overall comparatively to other cities of this caliber & size.  Read More

Small town Great People Shop only 30 min. away... Fishing Boating Snowmobiling Hunting Sking snow or water sail boats , deep vast water....Low cost of living..
