..this little town has alot of history. My grandmother and her family came through it before the turn of the century enroute to Sidney/Fairfield area. At a Eklaka centennial a whole lot of years ago, when Don Nutter was govenor, she introduced me to her babysitter, an older indian woman who lived in a small log cabin with a dirt floor. Here it is fifty years later and I can still see the cabin and the dirt
