WHAT A POOP HOLE! - 5/19/2015
I Was born in the neighboring city but raised in Bridgeton. Back then it was great place to live. The city was full of life and jobs. Everyone knew everyone and looked out for you. You could sleep wit your doors unlocked. It was clean. After high school I moved away to attend college. The current Bridgeton is a POOP HOLE! This place has transformed into little Mexico, Gang Land, Drug central, Dirty, NO JOBS, GUN wielding thugs, and a piss poor police department. IT'S A NIGHTMARE!!!!! WHAT HAPPEND TO THIS PLACE? Pretty much the ENTIRE CUMBERLAND COUNTY SUCKS! I wouldn't raise a puppy in that place. STAY Read More

I used to think the city officials were simply incompetent, I’ve since been proven wrong. They are simply corrupt. They pass local laws with the label of “cleaning up” the town. A new litter law (that was repealed by a conflicting state law) made a resident responsible not just for the litter in their yard but for any in the street half way across. The 9 city code enforcement officers (which, I outnumber the 4 police officers on duty at 10pm to 5am) dole out fines to locals for furniture (chairs) on their porch, to painting your house a non-approved color. In the 10 years, I’ve had 9 slashed tires, 4 automotive hit and runs, 2 broken windows, 3 tags, and a bike with locking chain stolen. So I've survived better than most of my neighbors within 50 yards; (arsons, B&Es, muggings, armed robberies, murders, ect...). Read More
