Beautiful Country Living - 8/17/2016
I didn't see any comments for Marlboro, and I've lived here for 12 years, so I thought I'd chime in.

First, I think you need to like country living to enjoy living here. Larger cities like Poughkeepsie, and Newburgh are only 15 minutes away if you need more shopping, services, etc...

There's not a lot here regarding entertainment, but there is a great little jazz club right in the center of the village. It's a great place to live if you like to have a larger lot where you can do gardening or light farming.

There are several large apple, and fruit tree farms that dominate the economic scene. The only jobs here are agricultural or local small business service jobs, however, in nearby Poughkeepsie there are larger employment opportunities at companies like IBM. There are a few great farm stands where you can buy fresh local produce. There are a few good pizza places, chinese takout, and the Racoon Saloon for dining and a drink.
