Woodhaven NY - 12/7/2009
Wow, I just read one person's review of stress in Woodhaen. I grew up there and lived there for 20 years of my life and it was at that time any thing but stress full. I left in 1970 and moved to Miami Fl. I now live in Sarasota, Fl. It is a very cultural city and feels urban. I highly recommend it especially since you have kids. I miss the Maole Trees. I looked at the map and it is obvious Woodhaven has grown since i left. It was a place where all of the neighbors knew it each other. It was a neighborhood. My parents owned the home we lived in and I realize apt. life is different. I can't see Forest Pkwy but maybe i did on the map. If so where have all the maple trees gone? Life has chnaged everywhere and there is crime everywhere. I began locking my doors last year. When I grew up in Woodhaven one didn't have to and one didn't have to here til last year. The economy has a lot to do with that everywhere. Good tidings to you Woodhavenite. Read More
