Well, as you can see from the title, I'm not a Bixby Spartan anymore. However, I lived in Bixby for about 14 out of 17 years. It's a nice little town, if lacking in things to do. Be wary at Washington Irving Park; the last time I went there we found multiple copperheads. Washington Irving had good reason to complain about the mosquitoes. GREAT place to live! - 10/4/2006
Small town but very close to the city (Tulsa). Bixby is BOOMING! I moved here 7 years ago when the population was less than 10k. Now it has almost doubled. Many new streets, brand new schools, new commercial developement including a big new Wal-Mart about to open. I have spoken with several people moving in to our town from the West (California,Arizona, etc.) and all have stated that this is a great town to raise a family and enjoy life.My family and I are very happy here and will be building our second home
