Chickasha, Oklahoma is a small town located in the Heartland of the United States. With an estimated population of around 17,000 people, Chickasha is known as the “Garden Spot of Oklahoma” and has a variety of attractions for visitors to explore. Visitors can take a trip back in time at the historic Simmons Center or explore nature at Grady County Lake Park. Additionally, Chickasha hosts several annual festivals such as the Cotton Festival and Christmas on the Creek which make for great family fun.
Visitors to this small town have often had positive reviews about their experience in Chickasha. They enjoy its friendly atmosphere, quaint downtown area, and its abundance of activities and events that make it an enjoyable place to visit. Some have even described it as being “like a little slice of Heaven” due to how quiet and peaceful it can be even during busy times. not much in the 'quality' aspect - 11/28/2014
If you want to live in a place where the health department will advise you NOT to drink the tap water... This is where you want to be. If you want to always be within 5 blocks of a church... This is where you want to be. If you want to live where you can only use the local hospital for MINOR issues, otherwise you have to go an hour to a skilled medical facility... This is where you want to be. If you want to live where the only places open after 6 p.m. are corporate chains... This is where you want to live.

In short, this town has all of the downsides of a small town, and none of the perks... High crime, poor health, atrocious education standards, and to boot, if you don't have the money for bottled water, prepare to be thirsty.

So, here are some of the things to remember when you are looking at the numbers listed on this site... In a matter of a couple days, there were 3 murders (did I mention this is a small town?). Don't leave anything unlocked. If you Read More
