Miami, OK is located in the northeast corner of Oklahoma and is a charming city known for its rich history and culture. It's home to many attractions such as the Will Rogers Memorial Museum, Miami Tribe of Oklahoma Casino, Robertson's Trading Post, and the Avon Theatre. Visitors also have plenty of outdoor activities to take part in such as fishing, camping, hunting, hiking or even just exploring the local parks. The town has several restaurants and shopping options available to its guests. The locals are friendly and welcoming to visitors. Many people have had positive experiences when visiting Miami, OK due to the multitude of things it has to offer. People who have visited rave about the beautiful scenery, wonderful people, great food and excellent entertainment options. All in all, Miami is an amazing destination for anyone looking for an interesting place to visit with plenty of things to do!

The city of Miami, Oklahoma? - 4/1/2018
Decades ago, I traveled through the city of Miami, Oklahoma in my travels to see family and friends. It was a clean safe nice town. Very little crime, clean streets and nice people.

A few weeks ago I drove into Miami and I thought I was in the back streets of Atlantic City NJ. In about 3 decades the town has totally degraded to a complete dark dystopian dump.

About 30 feet from our hotel room, we saw three cops pull over a man with the drug dogs sniffing for drugs. That same hotel was close to a convenience store (big mistake) and all night it was boom boom sub woofers very loud and open (alleged) drug dealing in the parking lot.

Miami is now a service economy if you can find a job. There are potholes all over the town. There are several Indian casinos and most all the hotels are either owned by the tribes or Indians from overseas, many of whom are openly hostile to people who were born there.
