Stunning scenery, friendly people, small town - 6/8/2022
What’s not to love about this charming little community? We lived in Hood River for years and liked it, but we love Cascade Locks. Frankly, Hood River home prices are sky high, shopping is the pits, (and very long lines at the grocery stores), and the weather is colder in the winter and warmer in the summer than it is in Cascade Locks. We may get a little more rain, but it’s Oregon and the greenest places get a lot of rain (Check out Sandy, or Welches). It’s worth it to enjoy the forests, the mountains and the river. We can get to better shopping in Troutdale, and the airport is is only 45 minutes away. Read More
