Outback Store at Granite, Oregon - 7/10/2009
We drove several times around this area in Eastern Oregon. We love the beauty of the mountains. Yesterday it was spoiled by an owner/storekeeper of Outback Store at Granite, Oregon. Unfortunately, we had a flat tire. We pulled in at Outback store to change our tire. My husband went inside the store to wash his hand when an owner/store keeper came outside and yelling to my husband that their restroom is for customer only. Everyone can be customers. We planned that he will wash his hand then the kids and I will come and buy something from the store. However, it spoiled our plan since the owner/store keeper yelling to my husband to get out in his property. We all stuned with the attitude of a small town store owner. My husband and I love to travel. We been to different places small and big towns. Granite, Oregon is the place that I will not recommend to everyone due to attitudes of a small town owner/store keeper of Outback store. I lived in Granite for some time, 30 years ago , I raised my kids there, wish I was there now. I was there in the time that the only store and tavern there was owned by my parents now deceased. John and Rozella Buether...
