Big Sandy's Crime Rate is up 282 Percent - 8/30/2019
I have lived here 3+ years. Crime rate high. Up 282%. Yes that's Two Hundred Eighty-Two Percent! Even Federal crimes like witnessing my mail being stolen out of my mail box cannot be reported. No police report, no crime. City is being overrun by criminals. I had to have a police escort home in May, 2019 after being surrounded by several vehicles with blackened windows. Great police force. Just way outnumbered....
