North Salt Lake is a blend of commercial and residential. The location is 10-15 minutes from downtown Salt Lake and the same to the airport. There have been several housing developments started in the last few years and the population continues to grow.
North Salt Lake residential is made up of two areas, one on the mountain and the other in the valley. Unfortunately new housing on the mountain is extremely expensive and large. Lots go for over $250,000 so you have to build a $500,000 house on it so it has to be large.
The valley portion of North Salt Lake you can have a house built for around $250,000 -
