living in bolivar wv - 9/11/2009
bolivar wv is adjacent to harpers ferry and shares both a police/fire dept. and a post office. bolivar is middle class, mostly homes on one quarter acre lots. it is convienient to the marc train which runs to and from washington dc. charlestown is 5 miles away and has a racetrack/slots facility. there is a super walmart in charlestown as well. bolivar is situated inside the harpers ferry national park boundries and as such is immune from any sort of commercial or tract home type development. there is a pub, a 24 hour convienience store and close access to both the potomac and shenandoah rivers. home prices are reasonable and most folks leave other folks alone. of course there are exceptions, like the fat woman across the street, but she isn't really from around
