Love it so far! - 3/31/2023
I came here to visit, but have decided to buy a house here instead. It seems to be a growing town with everything we need within 5 miles. There is a Smiths Grocery, and a Safeway. The post office is 2 miles away. There is a dollar General, Dollar Tree, three thrift shops, Auto Zone and of course, Walmart. Many restaurants. We have a hospital and a couple of doctors offices, dog groomer and even a small friendly health club. The big box stores are Smart and Final and Sams club in nearby Bullhead City. This city has everything we need or want. Water quality is good. Cost of living no better or worse than anywhere else. Nearby Laughlin has casinos and lots of extras. Love it here as a retirement location, but haven't experienced the summer months Read More

This is not reported on the national weather channels, generally. I don't care how dry it is, I've walked around a few hours in August at 120 plus degrees, and it is scary. You feel like your eyeballs are cooking when you ride a motorcycle in this heat. Shower water turned all the way to cold will still be almost too hot to shower in, cause the ground is heating it before it gets to your Read More
