Too Crowded - 11/18/2017
Corona has been a great city to live in the past 15 years. It had a small town feel to it. With the reconstruction of the 91fwy it has made our cross town street into a small and congested highway. Also the current building of hundreds of houses and apartments is adding to the congestion of the city. It takes an hour in the morning just to get on the freeway. The new housing and freeway have greatly diminished the quality of life for people living in Corona. Other than that... the schools are good and people are Read More

Great Place to live. - 2/22/2011
My husband and I moved here about two years ago. We're very Happy here,we live in 92882 area of South Corona. This area to me is like a city with a small town feel, the area is safe, clean, family oriented, with lots of schools, churches and parks, there are also multi-million dollar homes in the area (up to 8 Million), fun places like "Dos Lagos" which is an outdoor shopping (Anthopologie, Z Gallerie, Victoria's Secret, Bebe, etc)center with upscale and casual restaurants, movie theatre and a Gorgeous man made lake shaped like a figure 8 which has an artistic walking bridge made of bamboo that leads to an amphitheare (free plays, musicians). There's also "Caljalco Crossing" which is also a shopping center but this one has Target, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Pierone, Costplus, Bestbuy, Barnes & Noble, Edwards theatre, etc), it also has a Huge, Gorgeous water fountain with benches around it. All in all there are lots to do here, one can go to Temecula (Wine Country) to visit wineries, have Read More

not the place for me, but maybe for you - 10/5/2010
I was born and raised in Corona and didn't move away until I was 21. It's a 2 season place: Summer and Not-summer. Most of the summer it is in the 90's and it regularly gets over 100 degrees, especially in July-September but it is a dry heat. Stepping outside an air-conditioned house or car during those days is comparable to the burst of hot air you feel after opening an oven. It's no Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV... but its still friggin hot and miserable. Not-summer is nice because it's not summer. Nothing special about it, you just don't have to drive to the beach or mountains to be comfortable outdoors.

Expect lots and lots of sunshine. The "storms" as the weather guys call it are usually pretty laughable if you've experienced real weather. If you're tired of winter and can't afford to live on the CA coast, the Corona area might work for you. If you're like me and enjoy 4 seasons, stay Read More

School system - 12/16/2009
The Corona Norco School District system has been terrific for our daughter who has special needs. The teacher to student ratio is great and the districts are committed to all of its students. The community support and the teachers engagement in the educational system is Read More

Wonderful City to live! - 10/24/2008
I moved here to Corona from a city in Los Angeles county called West Covina. When moving here I noticed much difference from the city I used to call "home". I moved out here when I was 17 just to get away from things and having a great job making well over 80k a year at that age was perfect. So I found a very nice apartment and got to know the area very well. For a town I knew little about. I saw that Corona officials and City Council move very rapidly at building and fixing things. The city is comprised mostly of Higher Class Republican individuals who moved here from mostly Orange County cities but also love it. It is often said to be the "Beverly Hills of Riverside County". I can tell you since moving here things have just got better for myself. Since it's the closest Inland Empire city to Orange County and a half hour drive to Beach Cities there is a lot of money you can make. The city is filled with BMW's, Mercedes, Jaguar, Roll's Royce, and have even seen a few Bugatti Veyron's Read More
