Junky, Trashy, Transient, Rental Town. - 1/21/2020
Junky, Trashy, Transient, Rental Town, with no infrastructure or proactive government. Take exit 128 off I-25 and Drive around to see for yourself. Especially Old Pueblo Road and Link. The area is called Countryside....which was a planned community, but you can't tell today, and it has a truck route going right through it. It's all the same zip code, so one area affects the next. Nothing stays nice for long in Fountain. Maybe Mesa Ridge might, but clearly not Countryside or the South end. 25 Year Read More

fountain is lovely place to live - 11/27/2015
After living in 3 states and in Denver,Springs and Pueblo(within CO), I find Fountain to be a quiet, safe and cost effective place to live. It has moderate temps and snow compared to other front range areas, farmers markets, beautiful parks, lots of shopping, nicely maintained walking trails, good PD/FD and sensible budget minded people in government.

It is an easy commute to pueblo or springs. I see more kids waiting for school buses in the morning than I ever have anywhere else. (the schools must be good) Read More

Fountain - 6/1/2009
Fountain is a great place to live. Housing is affordable and not segregated (all the condo's not in one part of town and all of the big homes in another). The city government is small but effective. The schools are awesome with a high school where every student gets issued a laptop for a year. The community is quiet (not a lot of gangs and drugs) and has a good mix of country and urban dwellers. Lots of retired military from Fort Carson and Peterson AFB. It is 10 minutes to all to clubs, shopping, culture and recreation, etc offered by Colorado Read More

Fountain Colorado Climate - 8/25/2007
Great area for climate. Due to the higher altitude the summers are cooler than Denver or Pueblo and winters are milder than either mountain or plains areas. Kind of windy at Read More
