A Great Place to live - 8/11/2007
I have lived in Pueblo West for 28 years, the growth over the past 7 years is incredible. Most of the homes are built on one acre lots. The best thing about our area is crime is low, schools are excellent with smaller classes than you see in larger areas. Pueblo West is about 120 miles south of Denver, Colorado. After livingin Denver for 10 months, I realized I did not want to spend 3-4 hours a day on the Interstate just trying to get to and from my job! Pueblo West was my choice to live because of the open spaces (most homes are on an acre of land), the wildlife, and the Reservoir!! We are 15 minutes from sliding our boat into the water and enjoying what Pueblo West has to offer: watersports, fishing, camping, exploring and much much more. You can motor boat or sail on the Reservoir. Fishing can be done from your boat or the shore line. Camping is terrific --the colorful sunsets and the twinkles of the stars in the clear night sky, the chirping of the crickets, the low growl of a bear-what a bear? Not really, it sounded adventurous, didn't it? The shwooshing of an owl or a hawk is just amazing!
