Local Politics - 7/10/2007
Small town politics remain for this town that has grown to over 35K residents. Traffic is terrible and commutes continue to get longer on a monthly basis. Tax rates are claiming and the schools are suffering from overcrowding. No democrats are openly holding any elected positions in city government, however many of the council persons were previously democrats and continue to tax and spend as such. A fine city if you don't get involved in the local good ol' boy network and can stay out of the way of the overstaffed police
