I have lived in Wichita for almost 20 years now and I absolutely love West Wichita. The faster growing developments are on the west side Which includes NewMarket Square which contains: Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Super Target, Old Navy, On The Border, Applebee's, TGIF, Pei Wei, Coldstone Creamery, Chipotle, Starbucks, Olive Garden, Granite City Food & Brewery, Yankee Candle, Borders, various cellphone carriers, FedEx Kinkos,and many other shops, Banks, there are also talks of a BestBuy being built there, and places to eat and it is still developing. NewMarket Square currently stretches between the intersections of 21st & Maize and 29th & Maize.
