This city works. It snows and before you know it, the road is cleared and salted. The school district is top rated. Lots and lots of parks. Kids are active in sports. First ring suburb. Good mix of housing and business/retail. Safe and clean Read More

Have one child in elementary school - unbelievable standards and available programs. They do have French immersion starting in Kindergarten - seems totally useless to go through all that trouble just to learn a disappearing language (wow, you can order off of the menu without help!) - but the intellectual supersnobs seem to like it. Don't get me wrong though- the school system is absolutely spectacular. I hate winter. Others here seem to like it ("I wish it would snow" - I am like, "WHAT?!"). I think it gets too cold here to enjoy winter activities - too cold to skate, sled, can't build a snowman cause the snow doesn't pack.
