Not much goes on in Ronkonkoma. It's best feature is that it's conveniently located to easily leave. It has a non-stop speed train to Manhattan and a little private airport where you can learn to fly. The LIE, the major parkways and MacArthur Airport are all 2-15 minutes away and the Ferry to CT is about 40-45 minutes away.
