Quaint drinking town with a fishing problem - 12/24/2012
If you're a tourist I reccomend this town over the Hamptons any day. Stop in at the Corner Bar for a beer and their amazing buffalo shrimp, french dip, or muscles. Find yourself an ice creme shop that makes its own cones on the warf. Sen has some of the best sushi I've ever had since I got back from Japan. The Kite Shop, Blooming Shells, or any other small boutique has some amazing non-tourist gifts and items for the home. Concadora's (sp?) pizza is awesome, the Balgle Buoy is great, and if you need something at 2am, there's always the 7-Eleven.
If you're a local, the winter is all but dead of people. Enjoy the quiet, because in the warm months theres little to no parking and a bounty of new faces. But the economy is good! Especially if your a teen or young professional looking for a seasonal job. Most of the buildings were built in the late 1800s, except for the Hardware store and nearby shops (it burnt down about 20 yrs ago). Theres a lot of old and just a splash of new. Read More

Sag Harbor is the un hampton yet has all the chic amenities of the area. We have a wonderful community of friendly people who live year round and vacation here. Sag Harbor is a great walking town with a professional theatre and a great old movie house on main street. We have lots of great restaurants and many cafes and pubs. Sag Harbor is located on the bay only 6 miles to the ocean. Sag Harbor is a small quaint whaling town with historic homes also very natural and scenic. Unfortunately we get too crowded in the summer time with tourist and the cost of living has skyrocketed in the past 5 Read More
