Nice Friendly Place - 5/20/2008
Broken Arrow is a nice place to live. With 88,000 people it still holds a small town atmosphere. It's affordable (although the state tax is high - 8.5%) and has excellent schools. It's sits right between one of the best Community Colleges in the country, and Northeastern State Univeristy. Both are around 10 minutes away. It's also 10 minutes from Tulsa, which supports lots of shopping, restaurants, recreation and culture. Broken Arrow is in the process of building its own Performing Arts Center and YMCA. Broken Arrow is a great Place to live - 5/16/2006
Housing here in Broken Arrow is relatively cheap if you are looking to buy a house you can usually get a 4 bedroom 2 bath about 2400 square foot home for around $130,000 (this is a used home). I brand new home with the same thing would run about $160,000 so our housing very cheap. I have lived here in Broken Arrow about 3 years it is a great place to raise your kids. My kids go to Indian Springs Elementary and Childers Middle school the teachers are wonderful and very helpful.
