We've lived 26 years in Portland and everytime we drive through Sisters to Bend ..we want to stay...then reality sets in and we wake up to the fact that in winter you are locked in due to one way in and one way out ...passes closed...and it gets so damn cold. The newspaper office looks like something out of a ghost town with an antique printing press on the front porch. I grabbed a local paper. Even the McDonald's fits into the scene with it's hardboard exterior and low, almost unnoticable yellow sign. The town is very small...sneeze when you're driving and you might miss it. The "Bad Ass Coffee shop" caught my attention. (donkey on the sign)I was hoping it would be like a Starbucks but Read More
