So happy I moved here. - 3/22/2017
I absolutely love Lebanon, just moved here in October of 2016. The people couldn't be friendlier and I love the small town feel. Yes some areas are not so pretty, but most of Lebanon is beautiful! It is convenient to all areas, Hershey's , Lititz, Ephrata. The mayor is wonderful in this town, and really keeps it safe. Their is a strong respect for the police in the neighborhood, which can be seen by the many store fronts, sporting the sign on their windows "We support the Lebanon Police Department. " I always see patrol cars driving around which makes me feel very safe. The neighbors have been so welcoming and friendly. We were bombarded with welcome notes and gifts from the area, the first month we moved in. Delighted to have moved Read More

I HATE Lebanon - 1/23/2014
Lebanon City is disgusting. They try to do things to "beautify" the area but it just masks the ugly deteriorating homes and trashy streets. There are probably cockroaches in most row home since most of the houses in the inner city are attached. Its mostly spanish people in the city and the majority of them sell drugs, do petty crimes, and make rude remarks to passerbys most of the time. The goverment in the city is corrupt and most of the police are too. Most of everyone in the inner city is on welfare and most people abuse the system horribly. They drive up in Escalades, live in nice homes, wear name brand clothing, have expensive phones and say they have no income and no job but probably sell drugs to make more money than the average blue collar hard working individual makes. They lie about who lives in their household so they can meet the qualifying income requirement. The outskirts of Lebanon city arent bad. The houses are nice and more separated into developments and small areas Read More

A great place to .live - 5/19/2007
Regarding the first comment, the writer obviously was not educated in the Lebanon school system. His sentence structure is terrible, he does not know when to capitalize works or put an apostrophe in a contraction. Finally, he does not know when to use too instead of to. We can't wait to see him leave the state too.

I was born and raised in and around Lebanon. I left the state to enter the Air Force in 1968 and spent twenty years out west. Fortunately, I was intelligent enough to return to Lebanon. I think it is a great place to Read More
