Cheap Housing - 6/17/2012
I have lived in Smyrna, TN for a couple years now and am enjoying a nice condo and a good job. The cost is much cheaper than California and the people are really nice and have manners.

I've lived in Smyrna for 26 years. I am currently a Realtor in this area. Smyrna is truly a fantastic place to live. We have easy access to Nashville and all the big city stuff (less than 20 miles). At the same time, Smyrna still holds on to that small town charm. There are tons of things to do in town--movie theater, bowling, skating, senior citizens center, tons of parks, greenway trails, boat ramps, a tremendous little league program in almost every sport, a town center with fitness center and pool, the YMCA with an indoor pool, great shopping, and so much more. We have any kind of restaurant you could want, all the community organizations for you to get involved in, every denomination of church (including a Mosque and a Buddhist temple).
