Review of Akron, Ohio

A wealth of cultural and recreational resources in
Star Rating - 4/17/2006
Akron or the near Akron area has a wealth of cultural events from live concerts, plays, Shakespear festivals, art museums, galleries, universities to unique eateries. It also has one of the largest natural reserves and metro parks anywhere with awesome hiking trails. The summer is full of great art and craft festivals. There's no excuse for not finding something interesting to do here. I don't like the winters anymore due to mobility issues, but it is a great place to live and raise a family.
