Detroit has itys problems like many big cities, but the stuff I'm reading here borders on slander. Someone saying you'll find dead bodies etc.. Its a poor big city with its great points and areas needing improvement. I see people of all shapes sizes and colors walking around in downtown every weekend night by the hundreds and thousands having a great time. I cant help but suspect that some of the bashing is racially motivated. Been in Detroit for 50 years and have witnessed only 1 or 2 violent crimes in person. Not Utopia, but not as bad as these people would portray.
