Having lived in the City almost the majority of my life, I can only say, I'm glad I got out when I did, and I just wish the rest of my family would get out. It's going to hell in a handbasket.
Yes, downtown Detroit is a beautiful place to visit after hours, and yes, there is a lot to do, for family, culture, entertainment, history and so much more.
But it isn't a place to live. It's a place to visit.
Just don't stay too long!
