Review of Detroit, Michigan

Only thing good about Detroit are the Pistons!

I grew up in Detroit (on Grandriver and Wyoming ---what used to be a great neighborhood) and my family moved out in 1974 to the thumb area because they were afraid to send us to highschool (we are white). I can remember going to Bob-lo, tiger stadium, ethnic festivals, Hudson's, etc. every weekend -- there was always something to do. Unfortunately the surrounding neighborhoods (like ours) has turned into rat-infested, drug and crime-ridden hell-holes. Detroit is not the place to raise a family!!! But, being a Detroiter, I still love the Pistons!
