Syracuse is a wonderful place to live. True, it is the butt of many bad-weather jokes, as well as bad weather jokes! Though a medium-sized city, it has the friendliness of a small town, and all the conveniences and amenities of a large city. Rush hour traffic? 30-miles an hour, rather than bumper to bumper! Our housing is affordable also. What would cost hundreds of thousands or even millions in other cities can be found at very affordable prices. Median price here is $120,000. We offer great restaurants, varied shopping, several colleges (including Syracuse University, LeMoyne College, Onondaga Community College, SUNY Upstate Medical Center, SUNY Environmental Sciences and Forestry, Cazenovia College, Oswego College), state parks, lakes...a bit of everything for everyone!
