Way out of the way, and what a waste....

I've lived all over the US from small farm towns to huge metropolitan cities, but I gotta admit, this is probably the worst place I've ever lived. There's all those obvious things that make this the great or worst place depending upon your view, but probably some of the worst things are the cost of living vs. the wage rate, high crime, and don't let people kid you about it all just being property crime, because that's not the case. The southwest has drawn the older population which in and of itself is fine, however due to the city's lack of growth, and even the mayor's statement that we are trying to keep that small town feel, everything leads to everything else.
If you have the option of coming here or not, I would recommend against it...but that's my opinion.
