nice people;nice climate;but crime is pretty high....it doesn`t make sense to me;as nice as people are;generally speaking....

Agree... Actually, I think crime seems high because police do their jobs in Tucson. More arrests = higher crime rate. I've lived in a few places (San Antonio) where people didn't even bother calling the police if they found their house broken into.
