If hot summers get to you travel to a cooler climate. However if you hate the cold like winter in the east this is the place to live. Winters are very mild with a few cold periods that are mild compared to the rest of the country. I love the hot summers which you have to battle out like the cold in the east. Have a pool?: jump in with a drink and cool off. Get a little tan and soon you will love the hot weather as much as the beautiful winters. Thousands come here in the winter. We call them Snowbirds, With affection. Mostly happy go lucky visitors who you can have some grate conservations. All in all I love this place.
