I am 65 yr old, a sixth generation family from Shasta county. I am so ashamed of what has happened to our beautiful city. It is full of greed from the leaders of the city to Bethel church. We have no room at the jail but plenty of money for 6 figure incomes on city staff that do nothing. The tweakers, thieves, looters and other deplorable have taken over. The town is not safe for anyone. Salaries at the top need to be cut, no more "fancy" buildings for city staff with rose gardens for the homeless to set up camp. We need to clean house from top to bottom. Law enforcement and ridding crime is the top of the list!
