Life in the rural heartland

if you enjoy living in rural America, surrounded by beef cattle, corn and soybean fields, then I can think of no better place to be than Agency. Situated about 15 minutes south of St Joseph, MO (pop.73,000) and less than an hour north of Kansas City, you are close to amenities while enjoying a rural lifestyle. Traffic jams are simply tractors coming in and out of fields. The people here are warm and friendly and there are numerous churches of various denominations within a 30 minute drive.
The only downside is the occasional spring storm and tornado threat. it does get hot and humid in the summer and there is a chance of accumulating snow about three times each winter.
Overall, it's a great place to live and raise a family.
