Review of Pouls,

Corrections to note regarding Poulsbo

The description above states that "the ferry takes 1hour and that they are one and a half hour apart." That is only true for Bremerton, a place with a very different feel than Poulsbo by the way.
To reach Poulsbo from Seattle, one normally takes the Seattle-Bainbridge Isle ferry which takes 35mins and runs every 50 minutes. Bainbridge is where the rich and famous people have their second homes so they get the faster bigger ferries. Poulsbo is 9 mi away and is more middle class with a Scandinavian history. Original settlers thought the surrounding views reminded them of Norway's fjords.
It's a great place to be close to a major city with an enjoyable relaxing commute.

Poulsbo is also close to the Kingston ferry which also is a 35 minute crossing. This ferry leads to northern area of the Seattle metro area and is closer to Poulsbo than Bainbridge which is absolutely not experiencing “decay” Bremerton maybe but not Bainbridge. One must have a bit of money to live on Bainbridge.
