Review of Atlanta, Georgia

Have you people completely lost your minds??
Star Rating - 12/12/2020
This place has become so dangerous over the past decade. There is just nothing here that is necessary or right anymore. I don’t believe official statistics on this website, it seems like bull. This place is insane and sick and not well and no realizes it. The culture is degenerating. It’s degenerating fast. Nobody wants to know each other or help. Traffic is as bad as everybody says it is- just ride around. The growth is very much a problem also. There is just nothing that is organized: everything is completely atrocious and there is no direction. The people cslling the shots here have no understanding of organization. It’s a one big ball of disorder. Atlanta is degenerating.

Okay...seems that I can't respond to Jennie. Her post is so contradictory and should be removed. First she complains of far left...then the fact that the city has "taken in" others is bizarre...and then she has the nerve to blame it on the very thing she supports when she bashes the left!...CAPITALISM! This person gets to vote??

I've lived here almost 40 years, and it's gone downhill. It's too big, has lost it's charm, traffic is horrible, and it's too expensive. When I moved here, if you broke down on I-285, 10 people would pull over to help you. Now if you break down they'll try to run over you. I hope to leave someday soon.

This is why some people don't like the far left. Twenty years ago, Atlanta was a city anyone who had a job could comfortably live. Throughout, the years the city has taken in millions of people from around the country and around the world, and the population is bursting it's seams into the far suburbs. Twenty years ago, it had a vibrant, southern culture but that's nearly gone. I visit often, but I wouldn't live there. What culture Atlanta has today? I agree with you completely...every man is for his own in today's Atlanta culture. That's not southern culture at all. That's the culture of capitalism.
