I relocated to Fenton in September of 2017. My husband and I absolutely love it here. People are real friendly. We moved to a brand new subdivision. We lived in Shelby Township and before that Livonia, Michigan. Livonia is just to close to Detroit and I found Shelby Township a little overpriced for housing. I also lived a brief time in Wixom, Michigan and Milford, Michigan back in the late 1970's and early 80's. Fenton has that small town feel. I consider it to be kind of rural but close to shopping, grocery stores, The Home Depot, Target and Walmart. Tractor Supply.
The drinking water comes from the city itself making it safe. I am 63 and my husband 61 and we still have a 17 year old at home. We love the High School. Dining out is one of the best features of Fenton. There are lots of Lakes, Small Town Festivals and the list could go on and on. I love the clean air in Fenton. My husband and I both work from home but actually work for large companies in Royal, Oak Michigan. There are many beautiful older homes as well. Housing is more affordable in Fenton. I give it 5 stars.
