Moved yo the A.V. in 1995 from Arizona. So I must be the only one that is thrilled about the wind. Stagnant heat--sucks the life out of you!. Moved to Rosamond my first summer. Love the small town,AND all those I have met. In one day I was able to see the Space Shuttle landing AND a Whoopi Goldberg movie being filmed. Easy 20 mins to get into Lancaster. We have left our garage door open over night by mistake--nothing missing,despite $1000's in tools ready to be grabbed. Sure I would love more rain--but then I so live in the desert! This is the 5th home I have purchased--LOVE it and NO property taxes are NOT high.
