Best Island living in US from East-West

I lived on the island many years ago and found it to be my personal favorite. I have lived on both coasts and in Mountain resort towns. Bainbridge is just a ferry ride away from the city, yet it gives you the serenity you find in more rural communities without the lack of culture sometimes found in those rural communities. Safe, serene, educated and great people! Plan is to move back.
