Review of Chicago, Illinois

Life in Lincoln Square
Star Rating - 6/25/2006
Lincoln Square is great for new families. However, once the children get old enough to play without close adult supervision, most people with the means decide to head for the Chicago suburbs.

Absolutely not true. Chicago Public Schools are improving every yea4. 5 of the 100 best public high schools in the country are in Chicago (according to US World & News Report). Accessible public transportation means teens have a way to get around town without relying on parents or the need of an auto. Plenty of free/low cost activities for families with older kids and teens. I love living in Chicago; wouldn't move to the suburbs for anything or anyone.
