I disagree with the other posts that say Douglasville is not a great place. I have lived in a number of states and foreign countries and have chosen to raise 3 wonderful kids in Douglasville. It absolutely has changed from 5-10 years ago but so has the entire Atlanta metro area. I would still rather live here than in any of the other surrounding suburban counties and while I agree that our local government has been historically slow to recognize negative growth trends they have now started to take small steps forward. Good people, good schools and a wonderful sense of community.
